I'm a composer, arranger and guitarist. At NAM I serve as CEO, director and teacher.
I started "inventing" songs around the age of 13. I formed my first band and began studying guitar. While still teenagers we already had a repertoire of nothing but original songs.
After high school I started working in travel and event management. A career I left after almost ten years to devote myself to music — but one that gave me many useful skills I'd draw on later.
After graduating in modern guitar from NAM, I began my first professional experiences in music. I played a lot of everything. But creating and writing music has always been what I'm most passionate about.
I directed a musical theatre company and composed music for commercials. Teaching felt right from the start. First in small-town schools. Then I walked back in as a teacher where I had once walked out as a student: NAM. By 33 I was its director and full partner.
Along the way, countless experiences — but two projects above all. Milando Fertango, an Argentine tango quartet, two albums. And NaGa, a rock band playing originals, two albums of my own songs. I wrote a book on harmony and have more in the drawer.
I travelled extensively with a backpack across Asia. I studied sitar in Varanasi. And I named my daughter India. And my son Lucio (after Battisti or Dalla, you ask?).
And I still haven't stopped "inventing" songs.
